Summer Holiday Daytime Workshops

Photography and creative visual art
Community Focus are running a fully inclusive week of photography and creative visual art. This is a great opportunity for young people to learn
to use a camera, be out on location taking photos and develop them in a dark room.
The week will also include visual art workshops using mixed mediums to create elaborate masks to then be photographed. There will be an exhibition
of work at the end of the week for families and friends to come and celebrate the young peoples work.

Dance and movement with visual art
IPOP are running two weeks of creative dance and movement with visual art. These weeks will involve the children and young people in dance choreography,
allowing them to devise a story and create a dance to the theme of "Under African Skies".
Throughout the week they will design decorative costumes and masks which will become part of their perfomance that they will show to friends and
family at the end of the week.

The Afghan Association Paiwand is organising Summer Activities for refugee children again this year.

IPOP Saturday Morning Club
IPOP run a Saturday Morning Club at the Log Cabin, Grahame Park . The club is an all day play session (10am-3:30pm), for disabled and non-disabled children. They provide a wide range of activities, both indoor and outdoor. These include group games, a variety of arts & crafts and sports.

IPOP Football Club
The IPOP Football Club is open to all disabled children 5-18 who live in Barnet. It aims to give children the confidence and skills to play football with non-disabled children. The Club has 3 separate groups that meet at the Power League, Mill Hill on Sundays during term time. You do not need to have any special equipment to come along.
Cost: Each session costs £3, which must be paid each term.

IPOP Music School
The IPOP Music School helps disabled children settle into mainstream music classes. It offers family workshops, musical evenings and outings. Classes are for 2-4 children, one Music Leader and a Music Support Worker. The classes run on Saturdays during term time in the Finchley Youth Theatre, East Finchley.

Katchup Club
The Katchup Club meet on Wednesday, Thursdays and Sundays at the Rainbow Centre, Dollis Valley. It gives young people aged 5-13 years help with school work. They also talk about keeping healthy and hold fun indoor and outdoor activities.

The Phoenix Cinema, East Finchley holds a Saturday Morning Kids Club where you can take part in a fun activity before watching a film. It is best that you ask them to keep a ticket for you before arriving at the cinema so call 020 8444 6789 to book a place.
Cost: £2 per child, or with a group ticket you can go for £1 (a group ticket is for 5-10 people including 2 adults).
