Barnet Children's Fund

Following the success of the 2006 Activity Grants scheme, the Children's Fund Steering Group again asked the B.O.B.B.Y (Best of Barnet Borough Youth) panel to assess ideas from groups for things for children to do. The B.O.B.B.Y panel are aged 8-13 and are representatives of children's projects from all over the borough.

The panel favoured innovative ideas which would give children experiences outside their every day lives. The panel wanted to know that children had been involved in deciding on the activities proposed.

The panel met in March and awarded grants ranging from £1000 to £5000 to 33 organisations.
